This is where the open-ended, crime-themed game play Take-Two perfected in "Grand Theft Auto III" starts to get interesting. The game puts the action in a new setting, the cocaine-soaked scene based in Miami in the 1980s. It was the first to prove that the "Grand Theft Auto" formula has serious legs and can be about much more than just shooting up an imaginary analogue of New York City.
